Unfortunately I will not be able to join everyone this Saturday for the Chuckanut Drive ride as I am having to fly to Phoenix, Arizona for business tomorrow morning. Since I can’t go this weekend I will probably be heading down the first Saturday in June to do the ride. Anyone who is unable to go this weekend is welcome to join me when I go in a couple weeks. For those riding this Saturday, have a great ride.

Thanks to all of you who stood around and gave advice on my ‘bike too low’ problem. I got Imperial to crank up the rear shock and put some air in the front one – and that seems to have really helped – I am taking a road trip up to Kamloops this Thursday – any advice on what to carry with me (oil, tools, ???) or look out for - would be great. I don’t have time to get those left and right socks, but I’ll try to get through this trip and see what I can do about next trip

Just a reminder that we have changed our ride time for Monday seeing it is a holiday. For thoes of you not fortunate enough to go away, we are going to have a longer day ride on holiday Monday. The ride leaves from the Tim Horton’s parking lot at Southpoint Mall at 10:00 Am sharp. Jeff Ferguson will be leading, (That is if he has found a bike by then) so please arrive early, fully fueled and ready to go.
We had a great ride last night. Larry led the ride and took us through some parts of Ladner which I had never been through. We ended up at Krispy Cream in Delta for a coffee before we went our separate ways. We had 10 bikes out and reasonable weather.
What more can you ask for.

Just a reminder to all, the details for the ride on Monday May 19 has changed. We will be meeting at Tim’s in the morning at 10am, going for breakfast, and then heading out.
Monday is a holiday so we can take advantage of a day ride; woooo hooo!

Don’t forget our next group meeting will me Monday May 05 @ 7:00 Pm in the Fireside Room. It will be a time to connect over coffee as well as a “Show and Tell” of items we would not be without on a trip. If the weather is nice please ride out as we will try and do a mini show and shine in the church courtyard and if time permits a short ride through the roads of White Rock. We will also be picking ride leaders for the month so come with the mindset of leading a ride this month. Remember it takes participation from all in order to make this group successful.
Looking forward to seeing eveyone out on Monday and remember, “Keep the rubber on the road and the wind in your face”.
