Monday August 9th Evening Ride

Turn on the Tap Ride September 11, 2010

As a group we are going to support the Samaritan’s Purse “Turn on the Tap” ride which raises money for water filters in countries without clean water.  Registration is $25.00 per bike and you are encouraged to register before August 31, 2010 by calling Maranatha Baptist Church @ 604-854-1505.  We are also being challenged to raise $100 per rider which is the cost to produce one of these amazing water filtration systems.  This can be done individually or through pledge forms which are available for download on Samaritan’s Purse web site or see me at any of the rides.  For more information visit their website at: http://www.samaritanspurse.ca/ourwork/water/MotorcycleFraserValley.aspx

Our Mission Statement:

“To provide an opportunity to connect with others who share the same passion for motorcycling through rides, meetings, and social events, in an atmosphere that will be able to include people from the church and surrounding community.”

About Us:

We are a friendly group of men and women from Peace Portal Alliance Church in South Surrey. We come from different backgrounds and age groups, but are drawn together by our love of motorcycles. Throughout each month we have many opportunities to meet and ride. Monday nights are set aside to ride the awesome roads of the lower mainland while ending with a time of fellowship before heading home. We also set aside one Saturday a month to head out on a day ride to a specific destination. Our rides are open to anyone, and any type of bike is welcome.

Feel free to explore our web site and check out our posted ride schedule and photos of past rides and events. For more information, contact Bruce Foster at ClassicIron02@gmail.com
